As a Sheffield based wedding photographer, it’s always been a dream of mine to get out to the Peak District for a couple session. For those who have been to the Peak District, you will know how stunning this part of the UK is, and shows why Derbyshire is a stunning place to explore. Luckily for me, Alex and Usa gave me the chance to capture some incredible shots of them in early December.

After a gorgeous ceremony in the heart of Sheffield, I came up with the idea of venturing out to one of my favourite spots in the Peak District for their couple session. Once they were on board, I couldn’t wait to finally get out there with them. On the journey over, there were some showers which did make me worry that it might have been for nothing. However, as soon as we arrived at the location, the clouds cleared up and made for a beautiful evening in the countryside with these two.

Being based in Sheffield has meant that the Peak District has always been such an important and central part of my photography journey, and so having the opportunity to showcase the love that these two have for each other here was truly an honour.
