An Stunning Autumn Wedding in Oxfordshire | Bledlow

Back in September, I had the pleasure of being able to capture Charlotte & Jack’s wedding in Oxfordshire. Over the past couple of years, I’ve had the chance to document some beautiful weddings in this part of the UK, and so I was very much looking forward to C & J’s day. These two, along with their friends and family worked tirelessly in the week leading up to their wedding to transform their family farm into a stunning setting for the big day.

In the morning, I managed to spend 10 minutes with Jack and his groomsmen as they put on their suits, supplied from Dominos in Thame, fastened button holes, and more importantly got some time with the gorgeous ‘Tipple’ (their Jack Russell). With Laura Carroll and Holly Edmonds working their magic over at the girls house, and with Charlotte wearing Sassi Holford, it was time for to head to the Church. These two had their lovely ceremony at the nearby Holy Trinity Church in Bledlow, surrounded by all of their closest loved ones. Following a pretty huge confetti exit from the church, C & J took off in a vintage Land Rover to a nearby field, which was in fact the same field that Jack proposed in just a year before. They had a celebratory drink as ‘Mr & Mrs’, before we headed on a short walk in the most beautiful of settings. In these moments, I always prefer to capture couples naturally, rather than posing, to make sure I create timeless and authentic moments, something that resonates with the couple and their relationship.

We then headed back to the reception, where C & J made a pretty spectacular entrance in the vintage Land Rover. After an afternoon of drinks and laughter in the September sun, and some pretty hilarious speeches, it was time to party! Not forgetting the gorgeous food put on by Stuggy’s BBQ. One thing that these two didn't want at their wedding was a half-filled dance floor - enter The Dominos. These guys absolutely smashed the music, and made this one of the liveliest dance floors I think I’ve ever seen! To finish the day off in the most perfect way possible, Jack’s dad had secretly set up a firework display for them, which I can confirm was a complete surprise. A truly incredible day for these two amazing people in the heart of England.
